Recommended Music

All students are responsible for procuring their own music. The instructor will help the student find music that would be appropriate for the voice level and give suggestions for books or music the student may be interested in acquiring. Occasionally the instructor will lend the student her own personal music. This personal music is a loan only and the student will be expected to legally procure his/her own music and return the instructor's in a timely manner. (see Studio Policies)

Note: Many of these required and recommended books (though not all) are available as books only or as books with CDs. My recommendation is to purchase the books that come with CDs. These make practicing easier as most include accompaniment tracks. Also, many books are available in different voice types (women, men, soprano, alto, tenor, bass, etc.). Be sure you are purchasing the correct voice type. If you are unsure what your voice type is, please consult with the instructor before purchasing.
